Frisco is perfect for providing a top-tier education to children! One of the most highly regarded school districts in Texas, the Frisco Independent School District has an overall A+ grade. Niche ranks Frisco ISD in the top 1% of more than 1,000 school districts in Texas. The area also boasts several local colleges. Most notably, the University of North Texas (UNT) campus at Frisco Landing.

Frisco is a city of parks, home to 49 parks ranging from small neighborhood playgrounds to large community parks with sports complexes. Harold Bacchus Community Park has 79 acres of sports fields, picnic facilities, a playground, pond and trails. Also nearby, Frisco Commons Park has won several awards, including being named Best Family Park in the Metroplex. This 63-acre park offers an amphitheater, a tranquil pond, picnic shelters, wooded trails and more. The Warren Sports Complex has 105 acres of sports fields, a nature garden, picnic areas, a stocked pond and more.

It’s official! Frisco will soon get its Universal Studios theme park. —but it will be unlike any of their existing parks. This new destination will feature kid-friendly rides set within immersive lands, as well as a 300-room hotel.
Currently, with a few sporting venues like Dr Pepper Ballpark, and attractions like the Frisco Heritage Museum, there’s lots to see and do!
Frisco boasts over 9 million square feet of retail and restaurant space, making it a great place for shopping and dining. Stonebriar Centre, the largest shopping mall in North Texas along with the Centre at Preston Ridge are popular for its variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment activities. Also, the Shops at Starwood are another excellent option for bars, nightlife, stores and restaurants. The Rail District in the heart of downtown also offers boutique clothing stores and craft and jewelry shops.
